Board Member Receives $15,000 FCC Grant for our Community

​Earl Reading who is a board member of our LSB applied for a grant on behalf of our community. He applied to the FCC (Farm Credit Canada) for a grant to help cover the cost of a new HVAC system for our Community Centre. His application was successful and today, representatives of FCC came and presented to the Board a cheque for $15,000!

The FCC AgriSpirit Fund is about enhancing rural communities. The sustainable use of resources contributes to successful community development. They focus on efforts that support Canadian agriculture, help their customers succeed, give back to communities across the country, create a great employee experience and reduce our environmental impact.
