Christmas parade is today! After the parade the Legion will have hot soup and hamburgers available while we visit with Santa, enjoy hot coffee and cocoa, decorate Christmas cookies and wait for it to get dark enough for the tree lighting. YAY .. no cooking tonight! The parade will begin at 2 pm It's True! Trash and Treasures will be open Saturday December 2nd 10 AM to 1 PM. come on out and get some Christmas shopping done! Here are 3 upcoming events: FARMER'S DAY AT THE ARGYLE FARMERS MARKET This Wednesday August 2 from 9am-1pm Artisan locally handmade items...Always wonderful vendors! Jam and Jelly tasting, apple bobbing, fresh hot corn on the cob, antique farm implements, log sawing, and FOOD ART. I know Mom always told you not to play with your food, but in this case we encourage it. You can assemble food art creations with Ontario fruits and veggies. See you there! HORTICULTURE CLUB FLOWER SHOW Upcoming Meeting of the local Horticulture Club will be Thursday August 3rd at 7pm at the Argyle Community Centre to discuss the upcoming flower show. FLOWER SHOW is Tuesday August 15th 9am at the Argyle Community Centre with judging of the entries taking place on Wednesday August 16th 9am-2pm. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Free Concert & BBQWe congratulate the Argyle Riders Snowmobile Club and the volunteer members of our community who helped to put on another spectacular Cornfest on September 3 at the Arnstein Arena.

No tickets at the door. They must be purchased in advance at the above locations $25 per ticket. The Argyle Heritage Celebration was a huge success with over 300 visitors at the Community Centre alone and many more visiting the three local open houses hosted by Sherry and Hartley Moore, Lloyd Brown and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 415.
